Our tools allow dealers to get a localized view of all the inventory, filtered by their preferences (i.e. make, model year, mileage) and located within the distance radius they set. These cars are either:
• Marked for wholesale or "aging out" at other dealers' lots,
• uploaded by consumers using one of our consumer affiliates' sites,
• or available from fleet, rental, and off-lease remarketers using our platform or API.
We replace the time-consuming and uncertain auction process with good, old-fashioned "deal-making". When a dealer finds a car of interest, they place a blind offer that can be rejected, accepted, or countered by the selling dealer, consumer, or remarketer. Using this method, deals can be made and consummated in minutes or hours instead of waiting for auctions to end or "auction day" to arrive.

When a value has been agreed upon, the buying dealer receives the right to inspect and drive the vehicle upon delivery and prior to payment. Tires are kicked, paperwork is completed, and the seller leaves with a check.
We partner with the providers of Dealer Inventory Management Systems that collect and push data and photos to online marketplaces on behalf of their dealer customers. These partners are able to offer their dealer customers their own version of the RollSale platform to use and connect to this new wholesale ecosystem.
These partners receive this platform at no cost, and pass no listing or subscription fees to their dealer customers. Instead, dealers are charged only when they successfully buy or sell a car on RollSale.
Here is an example of how RollSale shares revenue with partners:
| Transaction Type | Revenue | Partner | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dealer-to-Dealer | $50 from selling dealer | Selling dealer's IMS provider | 50% ($25) |
| $50 from buying dealer | Buying dealer's RollSale platform provider | 50% ($25) | |
| Consumer-to-Dealer | $50 from buying dealer | Consumer RollSale platform provider | 40% ($20) |
| Buying dealer's RollSale platform provider | 20% ($10) | ||
| Remarketer-to-Dealer | $50 from buying dealer. | Buying dealer's RollSale platform provider | 50% ($25) |
